Comment (by YChao):
I have several similar experiences before, but can't reproduce now right
away. (B4 OS557 Q2C25) To me it looks more likely a timing problem as this
once triggered when I sweap over very fast. Slow down or change the
starting point sometimes helps. It seems that the controller or driver (?)
thinks my finger is actually sweap back and forth instead of a connective
forward. (any adaptive threshold here?) I'm wondering this could be
improved by adjusting some timing or distance threshold?
ps. playing around by tapping fast enough at two different points on
touchpad alternatively with two fingers, you will see the cursor sometimes
goes back and forth but sometimes move along one direction. I used to use
track point so not sure what situation should be normal.
