 Since build 556 (the last one I tried) everything seems to be working:
 collaboration,being associated to an AP and to the mesh at the same time,
 acting as mesh portal,etc. I am not sure how stable and automatic it
 is,but the little I tried seemed ok.

 We should close this one I think.
