 For porting reasons, I sure hope that:

 1. an app can send a message to request that Bitfrost ask the user for a
 file

 2. an app is not forced to deal with "here is a file for you!" events at
 arbitrary and awkward moments

 As long as the above hold true, the RPC can be hidden in the normal file
 dialog code of a GUI toolkit. When running under sugar, the GUI toolkit
 can just ask Bitfrost for the file. This means that apps which rely on
 standard GUI toolkits for file dialogs would need no modification in this
 area; only the toolkit would need to be modified.
