 I don't think that clicking actually creates a "selection" when in Browse.
 As such, I wouldn't expect it to be the target for a copy operation.

 I think the two main modes of operation should be:

  1. Drag'n'drop to the clipboard
  2. Right click/hover over the image to get the contextual palette and
 copy it that way.
