Comment:

 This isn't going to make Trial 3. You can copy/paste in the text entry
 field, but you can't select text to copy from, from the conversation
 CanvasRoundBox items.

 Copying text from there will take a redesign using different widgets.

 As a workaround, you can get at that text afterwards: resuming a Chat
 session from the Journal puts the chat log into Write, from where you can
 copy the text.
