Comment:

 The XO will automatically configure a mesh portal if you connect it with
 wired ethernet (via usb) and there is an infrastructure behind that; or if
 you connect the XO to an infrastructure commercial Access Point.

 If you do that, then a second XO should see the newly created mesh and
 connect to that.

 The exceptions to this are -- if you have a school server mesh set up
 (which most people do not at this time), then the XO will connect to that
 first and will not set up an MPP.
