Comment:

 Switching off an XO using the shutdown rollover in the Home view doesn't
 "leave" the activities you were in, so Buddy-Left isn't sent, and
 activities are stuck on others' mesh views.

 Same for exiting the jhbuild emulator, either with Alt-Q or the shutdown
 rollover.
