right?)
Yes.
> - Put resume button inside the entry (Eben: what about entries that can
be opened by multiple activities?)
This is a really good question...Let me think on that.
> - Put search icon inside the search text entry: #2167
This should be implemented in the general case, since this control (and
others like it) will appear all over.
> - Change bg and border colors of entries (Eben: could you spec when we
have to use each of the three tones of grey?)
- background: white
- normal entry: textfield-gray
- absent entry: white, button-gray stroke (progress entry, server-only
entry, etc.)
- selected normal entry: panel gray
- selected absent (but accessible, via network) entry: panel gray,
button-gray stroke
- text: black
Absent and inaccessible entries shouldn't be selectable; their checkbox
should be rendered inactive (insensitive). Additionally, their text
should be rendered in button-gray.
All titles should be rendered in bold.
> - Take out the copy to clipboard button (Eben: so only works dnd for
passing entries to the clipboard?)
Hmm, good point. A non dnd way to accomplish this is needed. I guess
leave the code but hide the button for now, as we might want to add that
back in.
> - Put resume button inside the bar in the top (Eben: what about entries
that can be opened in multiple activities?)
Again, this needs some thought.
> - Match design of Back and Resume buttons (Eben: should I use instead
buttons like the ones in the HIG:
We're actually discussing adding a new button type for use in these "thin
toolbars". I'll attach some visual designs in a bit.
