Comment:

 FWIW, I don't have any problems with dbus-python, telepath-salut, or
 libabiword on Fedora 7 x86_64, though maybe that's because of 32-bit
 packages I have installed as well that are tricking the configure scripts
 into doing the right thing?

 I have a patch for xulrunner to get around the Py_ssize_t thing, but then
 the python extension doesn't build, because of some completely
 inexplicable C++ symbol resolution problem that seems to be a g++ bug. (Or
 at least, the error g++ gives is demonstrably incorrect, and googling for
 it turns up discussion of past g++ bugs.)
