 I've already spec'd some interaction models for registration in #2467.
 I'm not sure I understand the UI implications of this ticket, since it
 seems like this a a transparent exchange of data from the laptop to the
 server.  If there is a need for specific graphical elements, could someone
 give me a general use case that I can design towards?  Thanks.
