Comment:

 Pushed fix, commit 2c72e7d2b1b780ff97f2bb449d158114c34806bc.  I had
 screwed up saving and restoring colormaps, and we lost the colormap fixup
 when the DCON code merged, so generally things were bad.  They should be
 happier now.

 This should be verified prior to Trial-3, so reassigning to Kim.  Kim,
 feel free to close this if you trust Chris.
