 The ComboBox icon seems too small.  We use it in SynthLab to choose the
 different modes and I beleive the current size is 20x20 which is really
 tiny.  Even in the journal where is shows the Activity icons, it seems
 small.
 In the short term I subclassed ComboBox and overrided append_item so that
 I can set the size myself but was wondering if it would be 'officially'
 fixed.
