 Can we read back from the CAFÉ chip's internal buffer? We could check that
 the contents match the intended write, after DMA.

 Can we also try booting with 'cafe_nand.usedma=0' on a machine where this
 can be reproduced at will, and see if the problem persists?

 Did we ever list the RAM chips used on the affected machines?
