 I think for the conceivable future a hard limit is perfectly reasonable.
 I discussed this with Dan (Williams) yesterday and we both felt that for
 our use cases a hard cap of 8 or 10 would be acceptable.  Right now we
 have hardware limitations which don't allow too much more than that
 anyway, and there's also a question of need.  I'm not sure that the
 educational use cases will ever require more than half a dozen activities
 at once, and I'm not sure that most children's attention span can handle
 more either.  In any case, teaching them to manage their activities from
 the start sounds like a good plan, and the ring visual is perfectly suited
 to indicating this hard limit.
