 Added the log of the failing X startup. I manage to see the patterned bg
 and "ugly" X cursor someone else was complaining about ;-) and then X dies
 and it's back to console. Retries every few seconds as you'd expect.

 This disk image was _never_ mounted on an ATest or anything else -- fresh
 dd onto the flash drive. No risk of xorg.conf being initialised to an
 ATest config.
