 There is a dice icon over on the mid-right, below some vertical sliders.
 It seems to start a drum beat when I click it. That's all I can tell. It
 won't stop the drum beat it started, which is annoying.

 This icon makes no sense. I expected it to make some sort of random
 selection. Perhaps it would randomly select an instrument, though it was
 right next to the sliders and thus might randomly move them. When I see
 dice, I expect randomness. Turning on (only on, not off!) a drum beat is
 definitely not expected.

 Another problem is that the icon conflicts with an instrument.
