 In the Read Activity I have Phyla open. I also have open the dialog box
 for opening new documents.

 I hit the frame key to see the frame, selected "Close", and got no
 response. It seems there is no way to force this app to die.

 Granted, I can close the Read Activity if I close the dialog, but I'd be
 out of luck if the Read Activity were hung. A normal kid would need to
 reboot; hopefully without also needing to remove power. Sugar should both
 kill any known processes (via SIGKILL to the process group, to catch
 typical subprocesses) and tell the X server to forcefully disconnect.

 This is on OS image 385.
