Comment:

 Seems like fontconfig 2.4.2 has fixed a number of problems, which given
 the bug fix, is very plausible.  Fontconfig, as of versions in the 2.4
 series, uses a shared database to increase performance and save memory.
 This means several processes may be modifying the shared  memory area at
 the same time, and there was a bug in the fontconfig code that could cause
 anything that used fontconfig to either crash or  be left in a bad state.

 Please report any further freezes in builds after 379.
