 There are several things that will be impossible in the ICCCM/EWHM
 context, and that will be not be possible to add to the spec because they
 doesn't make sense on a desktop system (for example you don't ask a
 desktop application to share itself on the network).

 Sugar is already using the wm specs when it's possible. What it's not
 doing is to support raw X applications in a compatibility mode (i.e.
 without all the features that are available for a sugar activity). I'll do
 a bit of that because it's simple and it ease development. I will not take
 it too further though, because the priority is to make sugar activities
 work well and the sugar team resources are very limited.
