Comment:

 I'm not really understanding why this is assigned to me;  It seems to be a
 problem at a level lower than UI.  Obviously form a user experience
 perspective the best course of action is to refrain from requiring
 repeated password entry for such things at all.  Once associated, the
 password shouldn't be required again.
