Comment:

 The attempt to use csound as a server hasn't worked out well, and it
 appears likely we will at some point pull in PulseAudio to give us a real
 sound server (running csound as a library on top).  TamTam is no longer
 attempting to use the CSound server, but just using the library and Alsa.

 Right now, the Alsa driver should be able/willing to mix your
 application's audio with whatever else is happening.  Until that happens,
 pull a Csound library into your activity (it may be already be in the base
 system; I haven't looked), and use it with the Alsa driver.

 I apologize for the lack of notification on this; we need to get a better
 process in place for mods to the base system.

 Also, Barry Vercoe has been working on an integer version of CSound that
 is faster; at some point we'll need to transition to it, but it's not done
 yet.
