 BTW, that's 81MB including debugging symbols.  In the actual image,
 there's only 7.2MB of modules.

 However, I'm all for stripping out unnecessary stuff; at the very least,
 it cuts down build times (my original kernel images started because I
 wanted a .config that didn't include IPV6 and netfilter stuff).

 So, how about removing nfsd.ko?   I can't imagine any reason why the
 laptops and images would need an NFS server, and the module is the 3rd
 largest of all the modules.

 Also, is the the codepage (nls/nls_cp*.ko) stuff necessary?
