 One of my laptop units still has the protective film over the LCD which
 decreases the visibility, has scratches, etc.  It's easy to spot it if you
 look for the waviness of the plastic protective film

 These protective films are easy to see if their are air bubbles, but hard
 to see otherwise.

 This defect can be remedied by taking apart the laptop and removing the
 protective film (it peels off).  In future builds we need to develop a way
 to make sure operators take off the protective film
