#493: System needs a "BUSY" indicator

The current user interface cries out for a "system busy" indicator of some
kind. Dave Woodhouse has speculated about flashing the keyboard LEDs as
the equivalent of "disk access" LEDs, and others have suggested that Sugar
should provide a generic busy indication via cursor animation and/or on-
 screen visual components.

Whatever the method, the current user interface provides no feedback when
the system is busy, leading folks to induce strange problems. One in
particular is pressing the F6 key to open a terminal window. Since no
feedback is made to the user, folks hold down the F6 key too long, to the
point where the key begins to repeat. After a long delay, users will then
discover that Sugar has opened up five or six terminal windows
 inadvertently.

 This must be improved.
