#491: Wireless driver hogs CPU during activity

Hi, Folks,
The wireless driver is currently far too CPU hungry during wireless
activity. When the "wireless enabled" LED is flashing, the cursor
position doesn't update, and in fact, all UI activity appears to halt.
Whether this is due to a spinlock bug, or simply code inefficiency, I
can't say, but this needs to be improved.
Best Regards,
MarkF
