 (bert): Is there an orientation/acceleration sensor in it, like in the
 MacBooks? That would be very cool to have, not only for ebook mode. You
 could make a global earthquake warning system with it :)

 (jg): No accelerometer, unfortunately. We should research current costs of
 them for Gen2/Gen3. My personal experience of having a screen with an
 accelerometer is that you can, in an afternoon, have intuitive screen
 rotation, not to mention other uses.

 (cjb): Accelerometers are indeed very interesting; we found that we could
 write at 15wpm using one hand and an ipaq+accelerometer with Dasher.
