 the F and J keys to aid home row positioning. The three sets of slider
 keys on our keyboard also have nubbins, but between each individual
 setting of each slider key. This is really confusing to me, because the
 nubbins themselves can be pushed in ("typed", like a key) but with
 unpredictable behavior.

 There is another "nubbins" problem: the F and J keys are "innies" instead
 of "outies".
