 Some tests (pystone and pybench) both show us getting a 40% speed increase
 from python2.5 as opposed to 2.4.  I need to do more of these to verify
 that the speedup is coming from the move to 2.5 rather than me using a
 non-Fedora Python, and we need to decide if and when to migrate to
 python2.5 by default.

 I hear that tamtam and the csound build system may require tweaks to work
 under 2.5, which would make this an invasive change.
