 I've encountered two scenarios when the frame goes off-screen even if it
 shouldn't:

 1. Invoke the frame by moving the cursor to the upper edge of the screen.
 When the frame appears, hover the mouse over the shutdown icon until the
 'Shutdown' tooltip appears. Now move the cursor over the NM icon. The
 frame will disappear.

 2. Click the NM icon, then move the mouse over the menu that pops up. The
 frame will disappear.
