Subject: RE: New EC Code?
Dear Mark,
We have finish testing the power failure issue tonight.
We prepare the three B1-board for this test .
The PQ2A41 pull power_button longer(800ms) was still failure after 46
times in one board.
We repeat the test again, it still fail after 4x times.
So we extended the pull low power button to 1000ms to test the same three
B1-boards, it have pass over 150 times in all the three boards.
It seems the cause was the café download issue. We have met the boot
failure problem in Atest-board(the board is no café). We found out if we
pulled low the power button to 500ms in A-board, and it always boot
successfully.
The café download time also need 500ms in B1-board, so we think
500ms+500ms that was safe time to booting.
The attached was EC PQ2A41b that was extended the power button time for
your testing.
We’ll also prepare the PQ2A41 and PQ2A41b PGP for you in the tomorrow
morning. You can decide which one you will release.
