 After a bit of operation with many processes (usually exacerbated by using
 NetworkManager), processes get stuck in the 'Dl' state waiting on the
 libertas driver to do I/O.  Seen on my T41 _and_ a b-test board with
 libertas-2.6 git after the deferred association patch.

 Usually name lookups get stuck, especially in libICE meaning you can't
 start any X apps, and existing ones doing name lookups appear to get
 blocked.  However, I can still ping stuff and do lookups from a terminal.
