 This is a valid point.
 One of the reasons we went with that route is that in eastern cultures,
 scales aren't divided the same way so we did not want to impose the
 western way.  With that being said, it would be extrely easy to support
 both modes.  Actually, it would also be extremely easy for the user to
 customize the layout to his own taste.  Would that be a good compromise ?
