Comment:

 I'm reopening for the following reasons:

 Blizzard is tempted by the power button monitoring stuff Dave did; I'm
 not: I think we should wait on that, but will chat with him when he gets
 off the plane.

 More importantly, the real keyboard has limitations on how many keys down
 you can have: I don't want this closed until it has been tested on a real
 OLPC keyboard, *or*, it only uses no more than 2 keys down simultaneously
 to invoke.

 I did verify the code works as claimed on a conventional USB keyboard.
