TamTam is a fun app that a person can get great sounds out of. After
figuring out some of the scales on the keyboard I was able to play some
simple songs. However going off scale is very easy since minor tones are
layed out right next to major tones.

On a piano minor are represented by the black keys which re offset from
the white keys. It turns out that computer keyboards are also layed out in
a way that can follow a piano's keys since each row is roughly a half
 offset from the previous row.

I propose to let z through ? and q through p be used to represent the
white keys and a through : and 1 through 0 be used to represent the black
keys. This is much more natural for someone who knows piano and as an
even better bonus it means playing just the major keys will give you the
major C scale which makes it easy for a child to produce pleasent sounding
 music.

Of course in this layout you lose some keys since the from B to C and E to
F there is no minor note, but I belive it is a fair tradeoff.
