Comment:

 Reopening. We _ought_ to be able to print from an interrupt handler
 without it dying. We might not want to do it in the DCON driver at 50Hz
 like my debugging code did, but it does happen sometimes -- especially
 when hardware uses an IRQ to tell us of an error case which we then print
 a warning about.
