 When you have no audio to play, and when Squeak is not the top visible
 application.  Otherwise other applications can't get to the audio device.
 In the fullness of time, redoing squeak to use an audio server is the
 right idea, but this is the minimum it *must* do for the moment.

 This is a showstopper, as it prevents all other users of audio from
 operating without visible reason.
