 I assume you're referring to the font size of the list on the left-hand
 side?

 A dropdown might be one way to do it, although with more than 20 or so
 feeds a dropdown will start to look ugly.  I'm not sure what an average
 number of feeds for a kid will be, though.  Personally I also like being
 able to see multiple feeds at a glance.

 In the near-term, there are two easy ways for making the feed list take up
 less space:

 1.  I could simply reduce the font size

 2.  I can turn off "fancy" feed mode, which would eliminate the feed
 favicons on the right and the first-entry snippet under each feed (see the
 feed pane in this image:
