 Compressing all but a few distro binaries with UPX
 (http://upx.sourceforge.net/) could reduce our base OS image size by up to
 50-65%. However, this would normally break page sharing completely, and
 thus isn't an option.

 On IRC, Dave mentioned a possible hack that would let us share UPX-
 decompressed pages. This should be investigated.
