 Sometimes see this but otherwise it's basically working.

 [root at olpc1 ~]# modprobe usb8xxx
 usb8xxx: probe of 1-4:1.0 failed with error -12

 We need to fix the firmware loading -- that wants to be a userspace tool
 using libusb, not in the kernel driver.

 And the new firmware seems to be powered on (at least the blue led is on)
 at boot.
