Comment (by Eben):

The rollover state should definitely include a "Resume" (or whatever term
we use for open) action. I don't have a problem with the double-click,
but as mentioned, this is not something we're using anywhere else in the
system, so it shouldn't be required to learn.

The other question to consider is which items in the clipboard actually
have a "resume" action associated with them. Clearly any object that was
created via an activity is essentially an instance of that activity and
should have this option. However, if I copy a sentence of text, can I
"resume" it using the default Write activity? Perhaps I can. Maybe
creating a new activity from a clipping would be useful - it actually
saves the steps of having to first launch a new instance of an activity
and then pasting the clipping into it. Though, if we support that, we
still need to think about the "resume with..." option as well, since there
would need to be a way to specify which activity to "resume" it with.
