New description:

 Problem: nick name prompt spread across six areas of screen. X cursor
 spread across four to six areas of screen. Photographs available.

 Context: on initial boot after firmware upgrade from q2a62.rom to Olpc-
 Q2B11.rom but using same OS image build 193.

 B-Test-1 unit Quozl-2 serial number PCL10EN6460012F.

 Flash disk boot/ directory contains:

  * d26c9484a9483f4996ddcb337870f2d5  nand193.img
  * ccd0acbfbbc681fbb9a083c0b0e5916b  q2b11.rom

 Sequence was:
  * upgrade firmware, resulted in a power-down,
  * manual power up using power button,
  * watch display.

 Problem persists after reboot, and after removing battery, and removing
 AC, both at once for five minutes.
