Comment:

 Which live CD? Of what distribution?

 Unless the CD has been built to be able to use the gxfb driver for the
 display, it has no chance of running on our system.  We do not have VESA
 emulation in the BIOS.

 Please reopen this bug if indeed this live CD has a current version of our
 display driver in it: but I'd be *very* surprised if it did by this date,
 given that we were working on the driver less than a siz weeks ago to put
 in support for the DCON asic.
