#586: new touchpad samples require pushing down stylus hard

With the old touchpad samples (pre-b1), one merely needed to touch a
stylus to the PT regions to get interrupts and ps2 packets. However, with
the new sample installed in a b1, that is no longer the case (even when
switched into PT mode). Instead, you need to press down hard on the
 stylus before you see interrupts.

I'm not sure if this is hardware or software yet; need to force PT mode in
the driver to see if we actually get any interrupts at all when touching
 the stylus to the touchpad.
