Old description:

New description:

 I was using my laptop as a musicpd server, just sitting on a desk playing
 music.  I looked over after a while, and the screen was all white
 (although the music was still playing, so I know it hadn't crashed).  I
 rebooted, and it was still white.  I took out the battery, went to lunch,
 came back, tried again, still all white.  I think it's busted.

 also, backlight controls still work.
