Comment:

 Ronak mentions that new firmware (5.220.9.p3 available from
 http://www.laptop.org/teamwiki/index.php/Tech:Wireless) fixes the LED
 issues.

 It indeed does on the dongle, but not on the board.

 Board schematics mention the following LED/GPIO association:

 {{{
 WLAN_ENLED  -> GPIO01
 WLAN_ACTLED -> GPIO12
 }}}
 Another detail is that 5.220.9.p3 still does not implement the command to
 configure leds
 in firmware.
