Maintenant qu'il est évident que l'Inde ne produira pas son «ordinateur portatif à 10$», le gouvernement du deuxième pays le plus populeux au monde a commandé 250 000 ordinateurs portatifs pour enfants XO-1 de l'organisme One Laptop Per Child (OLPC).</p>

<p style="padding-top: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; padding-bottom: 10px; ">Il s'agit d'une volte-face pour l'Inde, qui n'a jamais vraiment montré d'enthousiasme face au projet de l'OLPC, affirmant plutôt que le pays pourrait produire son propre ordinateur portatif pour la modique somme de 10 $ (l'appareil <a href="javascript:" style="color: rgb(1, 120, 44); text-decoration: none; ">dévoilé en février dernier</a> n'était finalement même pas un ordinateur portatif et coûtait plus de 10$!).</p>
