'hackers'? more like some runaway (dumb) bots... ;) 

We try our best to preserve the wiki, and given the nature of the 
mis-editions (replacing '+' with a space, and truncating after 
'&') they are quite easy to spot and correct (remember, it's a 
wiki, so everybody can help :)

As for the specific page,

it has never been targeted [1]. The only editions/changes have 
been by registered users. The original text[2] was added by 
Walter Bender, back in March, and would seem that the post for 
the "Director of Peripherals" is still open... any takers? :)
