That would be handy. I would prefer a standard for /how/ to cover these
features that indivicual activities can implement though -- this could let
many people test out their own variation on user interface, various faster
or more feature-rich indexing options, &c -- without the barrier of saying
'you have to understand how to hack the Journal code to be able to work on
this cool universal organizing/finding/editing-metadata problem'.
