I have to tell you once more about Vikidia.<br>
Please see below for a description of the project.<br>
It doesn't work very well those time, and really needs to have new
people to take it in charge.<br>
The french one is now quite well developped, and appreciated (see
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://fr.vikidia.org/wiki/Vikidia:Livre_d'or">http://fr.vikidia.org/wiki/Vikidia:Livre_d'or</a> )<br>
Some school work on it and it has about 150 000 uniques visitors a
month.<br>
They must be at least the same potential for the spanish version of
a wiki for children.<br>
I would give it to someone, a group of people or an organisation, if
they are willing to developp it, be it transfered to another domain
name.<br>

I guess it should arrive one day when the spanish version has
enought
content, in order to get an advantage on the too adult oriented
content
of Wikipedia, either online or on a reader to be incorporated to
the XO.<br>

But this wiki really needs new users, editors, to be take promoted
and
taken in charge by new and other people. It's actual team is still
very
fragile, even if they have reach to write about 1200 articles.<br>
<br>
So that would be great for them and for the futur users of this <i>enciclopedia
</i>that some of you get to do something for it !<br>

Hola, soy un wikipedista francés y quería saber si alguno de ustedes
ha escuchado sobre el proyecto Wikikids. Es un tipo de Wikipedia
para chicos [y hecho] por chicos y quien sea (adolescentes,
adultos...).<br>

La wiki francesa es <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://fr.vikidia.org">http://fr.vikidia.org</a>, y la neerlandesa es la
siguiente: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://wikikids.wiki.kennisnet.nl/Hoofdpagina">http://wikikids.wiki.kennisnet.nl/Hoofdpagina</a> . El
proyecto neerlandés fue conducido por maestros, con la ayuda de una
organización de educación público, mientras que el francés fue
abierto por wikipedistas (entre ellos maestros), pero ambos
proyectos son muy similares en sus aspectos principales.<br>

Los artículos deberán ajustarse a chicos de entre 8 y 13 años.
También tenemos el objetivo de promover que se involucren en éste.
Ambos proyectos se desarrollan bastante bien, con más de 8000
artículos. Los editores del proyecto francés son la mitad de
adultos, un tercio de adolescentes y chicos de entre 8 y 13 años
para el resto. Bastante editores ha provenido de Wikipedia y ha sido
capaces de proveer gran ayuda. Dicen que disfrutan haciendo algo
distinto. (Y la mayoría sigue editando Wikipedia).<br>

Creemos que es un método activo de aprendizaje para los niños, de
modo que no sólo reciban conocimiento, pero que sean capaces de
construirlo. Algunos adolescentes simplemente leen Wikipedia si no
se sienten capaces de editarla, pero ayudan en esta wiki si lo
desean. Si por casualidad alguno de ustedes está interesado en este
proyecto, estaría feliz de contar más sobre lo que hemos hecho.<br>
