FYI- here is the meeting I sent the day before the mtg - sorry it did not
go out sooner. The workshop had been announced in Weekend as well.
I will do my best to let people know of events with some notice but would
like to understand a bit more of how the workshop inconvenienced people. I
was here early and late every day and did not ask for any help ( thank you
to those people who did offer)
I think if anything it is the recent office shifts that caused disruptions
- and I hate to say will continue to do so as the closest to the door will
be default reception and we will continue to have workshops in the front
conference room.
Thanks,
Nia

Learning Workshop Sept 17 - 19
Hi All-
The learning team will be hosting a workshop here at 1CC - Sept 17 - 19.
We expect about 26 people from:
Colombia ( Govt of Caldas and Alberto Merani Foundation)
OLPC Paraguay
University of Wisconsin
Puerto Rico, Nuevo Dia Newspaper
Palestine, Ministry of Education
International Research and Development Organization
United Council of Churches
SEED Foundation
Nortel
City of Cambridge, MA
We will hold most of our sessions in the front conference room and the
area formerly known as reception.
Our group will eat lunch each day at noon and we will set up in the
reception area. I think we will have leftovers and you are certainly
welcome to them but please wait for me to announce the food is up for
grabs (we will move it to the kitchen when it is) There are no evening
activities scheduled during this workshop - we are leaving the time free
for participants to enjoy Boston.
Once this workshop and the Kigali Rwanda workshop are over - the learning
team would like to plan some sort of internal OLPC one day
workshop/meeting so that we can share the sort of work we have been doing
in country. Stay tuned.....
Thanks,
Nia
